Mark B. Logan

Mark B. Logan has served as a director of VIVUS since March 1999 and was elected Chairman of the Board in April 2007. From November 1994 until his retirement in May 2001, Mr. Logan served as Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of VISX, Inc., a medical device company. Mr. Logan also serves on the board of directors of STAAR Surgical Company, the University of Virginia Heart & Vascular Center, Public Policy Virginia, and is a trustee of the Southern Environmental Law Center.
